Mid-October Favorites

It’s not the end of the month…it’s not even a Friday but regardless, I wanted to do a post on all of my recent favorite things. From fashion to health to music, I’ve had a lot of new favorites recently and want to share them with you guys!

  1. Treasure & Bond Duster Cardigan

Funny story about this cardigan…so it was on the Nordstrom anniversary sale and as soon as I saw it, it was love at first sight. Naturally I had to have it but it was sold out online by the time i went to order it. I called my local Nordstrom and asked if they had it and they didn’t, but they told me there were 3 left in all the US Nordstroms. So they ended up forwarding me to a Nordstrom in Hawaii who had one of the 3 and I finally got it! It was well worth the hassle though, as I love throwing on this Treasure & Bond cardigan when it’s chilly outside or when I just want to feel like I’m wearing a fuzzy blanket without actually looking like I’m wearing a blanket.

2. Glossier Boy Brow

This brow product is my holy grail. Although I get my eyebrows tinted to match my hair color, I use a little bit of this brow gel every day to make my brows look thicker and darker. It provides the perfect amount of color and keeps my brows in place for less than $20! If I could only choose one makeup product to use, it would be this Glossier boy brow.

3. Mint Chocolate Chip Larabars

One thing I love more than anything is mint chocolate chip ice cream. Except mint chocolate chip ice cream isn’t so healthy for you. I recently discovered this brand of snack bars called Larabars that are made out of healthy ingredients like dates, almonds, and cocoa powder. These are perfect for when I’m craving a little treat but still want to be healthy.

4. Wide-leg pant

This one is more of a general favorite, but I can’t seem to get enough of wide-leg pants this fall. They’re flattering, fun, and comfortable! Plus they look great with everything from t-shirts to blouses and gives any outfit a more relaxed yet put-together vibe. They work in virtually every color but these wide-leg Zara pants are extra cool.

5. Mirror Master by Young the Giant

Ever since I went to their concert last year, I’ve been obsessed with Young the Giant. Their music has this carefree summer vibe to it and I love that about them. They just released a new album called Mirror Master and I’m already in love with every song, especially “Simplify” and “Superposition.” Go check them out if you get a chance!
